Here's a wonderful airport shot of Bob, Jeanne and Pat (A.P.) Rose. I'm pretty sure that this was taken before the whole mess began, at Detroit's Metro Airport... In a field somewhere on the way to Pisa and San Gimingano. It's my mom, myself and Penny Rose.

Toscana rules.

This is another wonderful photograph by yours truly. This one was taken at the fountain of Trevi in Roma. If you're like me, you're curious to know what everyone was thinking when this picture was taken...
This is the actual ceremony going on. On the right edge of the picture is the woman from the town office who was molto paziente in dealing with us. Mille Grazie. I wonder what Chiapetto was thinking when this picture was taken... Here is the exchanging of the rings. Our friend Larisa made them for us, and we hadn't seen them until just a moment before this picture was taken. This picture was taken just outside the town hall in Fiesole, just after we were wed. Our first breaths of fresh air as newlyweds (not an easy feat in Firenze. Very smoggy.). The coats of arms on the building are family crests from residents of the town.
Another fine photo taken by myself. How do I do it? Well actually, I just kind of stick my arm out really far, and... oh, right. Rhetorical question...

Here's Penny and me at the top of the Duomo in Firenze. Behind us you see the tower of the Palazza Vecchio, where Penny and I actually could have been married, had we been married in Firenze. Here's Penny and me in the couryard just outside of our honeymoon suite at the castle in Montalto. Click here to see some pictures of the love nest from the Montalto Website.
Here are the couple of the hour, and all of the parents. This was taken just a few minutes before all the knots were tied. Here you see Stephanie, Eric and myself enjoying a drink at the local coop grocery store. Yes, This grocery store had a bar. We enjoyed a shot of grappa, a delicacy from Northeast Italy. By delicacy, I mean horrid drink.
Grappa = Crappa
This is me and my good friend Roberto Benigni on the street in Arezzo. He had just won some Academy Awards (see them in the background), so he pulled me over to show me the proper way to hold an Oscar.
This is the obligitory image from Pisa. Some turn out better than others. Here's Penny and her sister Stephanie doing their part to hold up a piece of history. Note the wires being used to hold up the tower. (They're just girls...) This is Stephanie and me in front of the Palazza Vecchio in Firenze. She's posing nicely, but my curiosity won't let me. This is actually the building where Penny and I could have been married, if we had been married in Firenze. Here we are in the Castle of Montalto for our little wedding reception that we had there. Who doesn't love a nice portrait of a dwarf?

Thanks for looking.
We may be off to Europe again soon, so come back again.
